Hey travelers, Old Greg here.
This week brought a major upgrade to in-game loot, with new gear slots added for the first time since launch and enchantments that make your equippables more powerful than ever. Here's what's new.
Rings and Necklaces
For the first time since launch, new gear slots have been added to OGT.
Rings and necklaces are now equippable across three new slots: two for rings and one for necklaces. Newly created NPCs will carry rings and necklaces in their inventories, available for purchase or looting.
Rings and necklaces have a higher chance of being enchanted than any other type of loot, making them some of the most valuable items in the game.

Loot Enchantments
All equippable items in OGT now have a small chance of being enchanted. Enchantments either boost a specific skill like beastmastery or increase your max health or soul.
Enchantments are lore-accurate to the specific item they appear on, and rings and necklaces have a much higher enchantment rate than armor, weapons, or shields.
Only newly generated gear will have a chance of being enchanted.
