This week brought two major updates: the ability to add friendly NPCs to your party and the ability to chat with the DM without spending rounds. Here's what's new.
Add NPCs to Your Party
You can now recruit NPCs to your adventuring party. NPCs fight alongside you, trade gear with you, and play a much bigger role in your story once they've joined.
To add an NPC to your party, just ask them in a round. NPCs can also leave your party either because you asked them to or because they decided to go their own way.
Chat with the DM (No Rounds Required)
You can now chat with the DM for free. This has been one of the most requested features since launch.
Go to the new Chat tab to talk with your DM. The DM has full access to edit memories, update soul and health, answer questions about the game, fix quest and rumor information, and solve most campaign issues without costing you rounds.
