You asked for a challenge, and we delivered. NPCs hit harder, combat feels rewarding again, and there are new ways to gear up and recover between battles. Let's dive in.
NPCs Actually Fight Back Now
Your comments in Discord were clear: NPCs were too easy, and leveling happened too fast. Once you hit level 10, enemies folded like paper and the challenge evaporated.
Not anymore.
NPCs now scale to level 20 and land hits far more often. We've rebalanced weapon damage dice and armor AC for newly created gear, making every fight feel earned rather than guaranteed.
We've also introduced two new gear tiers beyond Legendary: Mythic and Celestial. Find them at high-level blacksmiths, loot them from legendary enemies, or craft them yourself if you've got the skill.
Oh, and killing NPCs now grants XP. Your victories finally count for something.

Rest Easy with the Well-Rested Bonus
There's a new way to recover between adventures: the Well-Rested bonus.
Sleep in any safe place, and you'll regenerate 50% of your missing health and soul. This doesn't work in unsafe locations like prisons or bandit camps—you actually need to find somewhere secure.
This replaces "Setting Camp" as the primary way to refill your reserves, though you can still access camp mechanics through the Settings menu in Campaign Leader Controls if needed.

Introducing the Seduction Skill
The title says it all.
Gone are the days of awkwardly using Persuasion when another skill would've been far more... suitable. Now you've got the proper tool for the job.
Use it wisely. Or don't. We won't judge.
