Hey travelers, Old Greg here.
This week brought four major updates: an original soundtrack, refundable campaign credits, Discord rank integration, and a journal system for tracking your adventures. Here's what's new.
139 Original Tracks
Old Greg's Tavern now has music. We've created 139 unique tracks spanning every mood you'll encounter in a fantasy RPG: tavern ambience, whimsical forest ballads, BBEG intro themes, and sweeping combat scores.
Music plays automatically based on the mood of your adventure. Fight songs kick in when blood is spilled, quiet ambience accompanies walks under the stars, and vast orchestral themes underscore your exploration of the realm's expanses.
Delete Campaigns, Keep Your Credits
Deleting a campaign now refunds almost all of your remaining rounds as campaign credits you can use on other adventures.
The system checks how many rounds you have left and rounds down to the nearest multiple of 10. If you have 34 unused rounds, deleting that campaign gives you 3 credits back. Rounds from invited friends don’t count in the equation, however.
Discord Roles Based on OGT Ranks
Ranks have arrived in OGT and now populate in Discord.
There are special roles for Legend and Hero subscriptions, and the rest are earned by playing. Show off your progress both in-game and in the community.
Track Your Adventure with Journals
You can now take notes about your adventure directly in OGT. Use the new Journal tab in your Inventory to write, tag, and search old notes.
Tag notes with NPCs, Locations, Quests, or Personal for easier filtering. Notes support rich text, so you can add lists, bold text, bullets, and more.
Discord
Hang out in the Tavern even when you’re not in the Tavern! Join our Discord to chat with other players about the game, find campaigns to join, or suggest what you want to see added next to OGT!
